@hereicome11 Brad Paisley just plays a different style of guitar. John probably can't play at the speed Brad does, and Brad probably can't play with the soul John does. Shouldn't be a competition, especially between those two :)

gonna disagree with you here. good alt-country bands grab onto something in conventional country (if there is such a thing) and bring it to the forefront. with these guys it's RPMs and a distorted Strat. But listen to their slower stuff, too -- it matches the best out of corporate Nashville for lyrics, melodies and chops. these guys are for real and the guitarist is a superstar-in-waiting. if he took off the damn hat, john mayer and brad paisley would get nervous.
