If Lyman cared, he'd put up a warning signs. His poor handling of this is a joke. The town should have looked harder at the runoff issue when the plaza was built, the town garage was on this property. You'd think they'd have a clue that the outlet under the RR tracks needs to be larger. The entire flooding thing is disturbing and this kind of stuff happens all the time and it really stinks when you are the victim. If I was Brio, I'd move to one of the other empty spots in Willimantic.
no one from Brio parks in the back lot anymore..
I just wish someone would have said something sooner here we are 4 months later and the owner still hasn't done anything to make this right for the students affected and some jerks just want to keep bringing this up like it is a big joke and no one should be upset. maybe if it were them they would see it in a different light.
wow 4 months later you respond to my post good greif dont you have anything better to do then bring up things that some of us are trying to forget? I said before your number is wrong. I really do not care who you are related to maybe they need to check with the students to see who actually had damage to their cars! yes there were aprox 6 totalled I was told 8 but there were dozens that were damaged! unless you are a student that was affected then you really have no imput / opinion that matters
Funny as a very close family member of mine may very well have been YOUR instructor that day. So... my info may be more correct than you like to admit. I was not belittling at that point but I am now. Get over yourself when someone simply corrects a GROSS exaggeration on your part.
This happens in this plaza during heavy rains, usually would happen a couple times a year. Park in front of the plaza if you don't want to worry about it. You'd think the building owner would get around to doing something about it.
well u must not have ur info. straight it may not have been 40 but I know at least 8 were totalled & dozens more with alot of damage Many of us have no other source of transportation & everyone wants to make this a joke. maybe the jokesters should have parked their cars there so they would know what it is like to have something you poured thousands of $ into get ruined because u parked where u were told to park to attend school. u are very belittling to all of us that no longer have cars!
Get defensive much? LOL
