I love this song, he did it on MTV Unplugged the 1st year they started it. Thank goodness I was fortunate enough to buy the CD!!! Too bad I met a guy who could not face himself in the mirror, but yeah for me I saw this within 3 weeks and had a clue after the first week. I did make him a mixed CD labled "Let the music do the talking"
n put his song on it but doubt he got it. He never will n I'm not a 'Stupid Girl'(Garbage)

Wow. This song still resonates. I've been going through some very difficult times and was trying to find some sense in the total INSANITY of the outside world. I came up with nothing but nonsense and excuses. But then, I realized that "nothing" will ever make sense "out there". And, then I heard this song on NPR ... (the only stations that still plays these kind of songs...) and I feel a bit better.I hope NPR will be able to keep going. They're the last TRUE "free speech" platform we've got.

@Anet99 ... I think you've pretty eloquently stated why Elvis is one of the very few pop musicians working today who is a poet, a critic, AND an entertainer.
