@lollito84 do some research dumbass. Denying this is as bad as denying the holocaust. There was a reason why the PLA was practically welcomed by the tibetan working classes.

According to "HH"DL Tenzin Gyatso, his family, which resides in what is now Haidong Prefecture in Qinghai Province, did not speak a lick of Tibetan (Amdowa, Khampa, or U-Tsangpa). Rather, they spoke some "broken" dialect of Mandarin Chinese. He did not learn Lhasa Tibetan until he was chosen as the Dalai Lama and was sent to Lhasa for his education.

Down with Tenzin Gyatso!
Down with Lobsang Sangay!
Stop tricking poor young monks and nuns into killing themselves!
-
Long live Dorje Shugden!
Long live freedom of religion!
Down with Tenzin Gyatso's religious oppression!

Shut the fuck up Tibetans, your fucking lama shit is a lie.
@lollito84 see both sides of the coin to see the whole. Thanks internet!

If you read the draft history of Qing you'll find that documents of Tibet is in "domestic" sector while places like Korea and Vietnam are under "foreign" sector. The priest patron relationship which you said was just a way Qing rulers controled Tibet; it's kind of autonomy, and it indeed gave local Tibetan authorities more power than today, but it did not mean Tibet was a sovereign nation at that time.
