  • Man, you got a LOT of pretty sweet projects going at your shop! Thanks for the walkthrough :)

  • @rekjavicxxx Thank you, But I am just one person who's lucky enough 2 be a part of a hot-rod shop/club kind of thing. At this point for myself I've been a part of it for ten years now. We have had some AMAZING builds happen & few things nobody would ever admit 2 ;-) But for the most part it's a big hobby shop where we can kind of co-op on large tool's & skill's.

  • re: "Z cars are my soft spot." ...ditto!!

  • @fatpius About a week ago In was talking with a guy here in town & he told me about one of his buddies here who owned a Datsun dealership here back in the 70's. Well he took a 72 240Z hauled it from the transport - his own garage & stuck the thing in a time capsule back in the corner. Here in my lil town lives a 1972 240Z with FIVE original miles thats been kept in a climate controlled balloon for the last 40 years. I'm dieing 2 go see it ;-)

  • @RESET1776 OMG!!! If you get that baby, and sure you'll find a way, you must! let me see it!!!

  • @fatpius I wish it would be a trip for talking about buying it! Only my Spanish name for the last few month's would be El-Broke-o......

  • @RESET1776 LOL, can relate to your 'latino name'.

    ...but, mine is more permanant.

Be sure to take vids of it, can't imagine someone having something like that and never using it.

  • @RESET1776 The way I figure I need about $1000 to get it how I want, (poly bushings, drilled and slotted rotors, thermostat, tires, and MSA exhaust) As for engine modification I should be able to run mine safely at about 15 pounds of boost. If I had the funds though a RB26DET would be in my ride. But for the time being I only need about 300 horses lol!

  • @iexploderacoons Man, I wish I had known about RNA sooner & I would say you need it up 2 par for that trip! Yes, I have been looking RB. Only I have the bug BAD & that's not cheap. Of all things if I hit the loto I would order RIPS's RB30 package for it. Damn things doing 7 sec 1/4 miles. Look up "Worlds fastest RB30" It's RIPS NZ & he sells crate drive lines ;-) But for now thinking newer stock RB25DET & keeping it simple.

  • @RESET1776 Same here man, I traded mine once (worst mistake I've ever made) and I had to get it back. I am going to participate in Rally North America this up coming august so I need to get it up to par. And are you going to put an RB in it?
