The very best athletes have the speed, build, reflexes and eyesight to be good in any sport. In fact, it is common enough for a champion in one sport to switch to another even in sports which are totally different like football and boxing.
The most important ingredient in sport is dedication. You have to decide what you want to do then fixate on it until you have no friends left in the world. Perseverence is the key. Never give up.

I want to try bobsledding.....I am fast...Ran track at the D1 college level as a sprint hurdler last year...I'm 20 yrs old...225 pounds...bench press over 400 pounds and max squat over 600...i rep 515x8 as low as my legs can go, well below parallel. do you think that i have a shot if i get serious about bobsledding
