  • I love the illustration, of Jesus anointing the priest with His crown of thorns, implying that priests are meant to know truth and suffer for it. May it be so, and may our prayers increase for them. The Revolution/revelation begins.

  • @noleyplatz The illustration is from a prayer card of a priest friends ordination. I loved it a lot hence why I thought I would include it on the video. I'm glad you like it too!

  • Beautiful, one of Fabhers great songs. Can you get faith of our fathers as wll.

  • I know there are many FOOFs videos on youtube, but none to the 'Catholic' version I'm more familiar with. It's more upbeat. If I do get hold of it I could possibly make another video.

  • @gannet53 Don't let satan deceive you into thinking you cannot devote your life to God. If God is calling, you will know no peace until you answer and then the joy will be indescribable and you'll know you are safely in His will. God bless you and I will pray for you. Lolly x

  • If I had the guts to listen to HIM and follow his call I would love to go forward to Ordiination but as a sinner I feel so utterly unworthy. Please pray for me that God may give me his guidance!

  • @babsbigsis Teenagers are naturally not religious, but the repetitiveness of the liturgy keeps most of them away from the Real Presence of Jesus in the Sacrament. If we only had praise like this and dedication of the altar, mixed with somebody who could really teach and 'open the scriptures' to us, more people would be in real communion with Jesus, without whom we can do nothing.

  • Sadly no more benidiction service in our parish so not sung lovely to hear it again!!

  • i love this hymn. it makes me so proud to be catholic

  • I play this every Sunday It confirms my faith and positivity to Our Lord Jesus Christ and our Blessed Mother.

    Thank you for uploading.

    Blessed peace to all ..

  • I remember this from childhood. This is so anointed. I am not a Catholic any more but those songs haunt me.

  • This made me cry. I haven't heard it for so long. When I was young we used to sing it all the time.

  • This heavenly hymn was replaced by the crappy rock music that crawled out from Hell and stunk the Church's with drainage....but maybe we needed it to really appreciate what we had before.

  • @shaunnyboi89 hi hope ur good thanks for this, my mum used to sing this while peeling the potatoes, she had fifteen children, she died when she was forty seven, i'm forty eight, have three children and embrace every element of this hymn
