  • I happened to enjoy Sandinista more than London Calling. It displayed more influence and was more experimental. No, it wasn`t better than London. I just got more out of it. as to what these musicians were about.

  • @oldphoque Sandinista is my favourite Clash album, i am a huge fan of everything they ever did, even Cut the Crap, but Sandinista stands out for me as their best.

  • Reminds me of wet Sunday afternoons, smoking weed...`ang on, nothing`s changed and the song stands the test of time.

  • IF YOU LOT LOVE THIS LISTEN TO EARLY, THE THE, TRUST AN OLD MAN

  • @chimpanzeethat1 say what

  • I just love this song!! I don't know what my favourite Clash album is, they are all so brilliant, but I probably get more out of COMBAT ROCK, songs like Ghetto Defendant, though I usually begin listening to the album at Straight to Hell, skipping the first four commercial songs!

  • No crap. Commercially, it bombed. It just happens to be my favorite. There was alot of content that could & should have been ditched but, it was great. Now, Cobat Rock was TOO commercial and had nothing to offer me. Yeah! great on these guys for making one of the best albums ever. It just did nothing for me. Sandanista & London are essentials. Rope & Clash are highly recommended.

  • this thierry henry the foocking cunt..broke the hearts of the irish nation

  • Technically you may be correct. Nobody in their right mind will say AFD is a better album than London Calling no matter the cut off date. GnR were all about the 90`s and didn`t become relevant till they toured with The Cult and later The Stones.

  • And of course december 1979 in the UK
