i cried to this and it takes alot to make me cry i am a guy with little emotion. it reminds me of what it will feel like when my father dies in the future.

Have to agree with all the comments.....One of the best scenes of all time...

Again, Thomas Newman smashing it with the soundtrack.... perfect piece of music to accompany the emotion in this monologue....

This film is really sad, especially this scene and when Red writes next to 'Brooks was here'.
I really cry when the camera zooms out to show the new message, 'Brooks was here. So was Red' :'(
