ok ' one thing , when the police tells them to get back and they dont do it , they stop their work , if they just stay there and says no , and the police keeps saying to get the fuck back , they have to use their sticks, i do understand the police in the one , and all the other movies with demostrations where they just sit on the ground where the police tells them to get back , but 1 thing i not understand and hate more then anything is what the police do to our lovely christania,

Ha ha, my personal opinion and counter to your independent comment would be that a six degree increase in global temperatures presents rather a larger "threat to public safety" than some temporary NON-violent inconvenience to the week's business (-as-usual) diary.
And... hello, are you seriously expecting us to take the Danish police and ministry of justice to be objective sources of information on the events of COP15? Maybe you should go and ask the residents of Christiania what they thought.

Sorry if I'm double posting, didn't seem to turn up:
Anyway from the same source:
"A police spokesman said just four or five out of 968 arrested would be charged and appear in court. "
963 people were never even attempted to be linked to any crime... And these innocent people were forced to sit on the cold ground for hours, and then put in steel cages where they were denied all their rights and needs.

From BBC on the big Saturday demonstration:
"Simon Sheikh, of the Australian social and political network "Get Up", said he had witnessed the detentions from his apartment in the centre of the city. The police rounded up protesters in a pre-planned manoeuvre," he told the BBC.
"It was unprovoked. They rounded up a group, including women and children, and pushed them into a store, before splitting them into groups and handcuffing them."

1915 arrested... You know why? Because the police were allowed to arrest people without any reason (beacuse of a new Danish law). 99 percent of those people were never charged with any crime (because they hadn't breaken any law whatsoever).
Some friends of mine were for example arrested as they were sitting in a café and the police stormed the whole area (Christiania) with tear gas and dogs and arrested everybody on sight. My friends hadn't even participated in any demonstrations.
What are you talking about? Were you even there?
I was there and did not see a single violent protester... you are making up your own stories out of the blue just to justify to yourself what you are seeing!
