  • No, they are Rolls Royce Trent

  • holy cow. they had a 777 flying form DFW to ORD?! thats only about a 2 hr and 30 min flight. im shocked. im usually on MD-80's or 737's.

  • There is one daily 777 flight in each direction between ORD and DFW. The rest of the flights are operated by the MD80.

  • @maithamq8, The airlines using PW4090 is United Airlines and Vietnam Airlines.

  • A good take off profile of the RR Trent 800.RR engines all sound similar - maybe something to do with the three shaft design.
