Where the Hell Is Thau?

DANCE FEVER!

I started this project well over a year ago, but when I moved overseas it got pushed aside and forgotten about. I ran across it today and thought it'd be fun to share it - perhaps even more fun now that it's really a bit outdated. The clips are shot entirely in the virtual world of Second Life. You're looking at the combined work of many, many artists. I am just a tourist in their canvas.

A good number of these sims no longer exist, so it'll be interesting to see if you can name them!

Well,it has been too long since I have seen a video by you. Was this a song you created? I miss the days of Splice. I was able to save the full 9 years old song, but wasn't able to get my strings and your voice only remix I did.

I would love a copy of the full version! I just realized the other day that I don't have it anymore. (YT won't let me post my email in my own comment but it's thaumata at gmail and I would really love a copy of that mp3!) Sadly, when Remix Galaxy bought Splice, all the content was lost. I was long, long gone by then and couldn't do anything about it, but it was sad still. Nice to hear from you! I hope you're well!

Oh, by the way - the song! No, I did not create it. It's called Sweet Lullaby by Deep Forest. I chose it because this video is a spoof of the Where the Hell is Matt video that was the first real hit for YouTube, and this is the song used in that. I'm sure they'll make me wipe the audio eventually, ha.
