To all of you people out there who are saying he has 'wrong form', back off! This man obviously has been training for a very long time. Who are you to say that he is doing it wrong, when you yourselves are probably lifting your impressive 12 pounders?
-
its a lot of weight either way u look at it. most guys cant even budge it from the floor. me included, and im a pretty strong guy in most regaurds
-
And to top it off, he's bouncing the weight lol
-
Dude, shut up, there are several pros who use the CORRECT form, and use 405lbs for 10-12 reps, a weight that, if the clown in this video tried to do right, might be able to eek out one or two..
-
obviously you dont know shit, you actually think that the drugs are what make the athlete, fucking pathetic un-educated pricks. if that was the case then i would just poke myself everyday, go do isolation moves once a week for everybody part and that should suffice, Right?????
NOT!! it still requires hard work, ith proper form, unliek this guy\

need to work on thoratix spine strength! plus its not a SLDL, take some weight off, slight bend in knee, striaght as fuck back, scapula pinned back, roll the bar up and down your legs(you will feel your lats the next day if you do it correct)!! hammies should be screaming and serious doms if down correctly
-
mmm, it doesn't look like a romanian deadlift either.....for the RDL, you need to shoot your butt and hips back to stretch the hamstrings........what this guy is doing is a conventional DL using all back
-
To hit a SLDL I would suggest bringing the bar against the shins, arching the back and finding a focal point on the wall or ceiling for the eyes. To hit a RDL he is there sans the arch in the back. HOWEVER, it is common for SOME lifters - especially experienced lifters - to be able to perform a lift in a manner that would be unorthodox or even dangerous for most lifters. This cat may be able to handle this weight and even more using this same form because his body has adapted to this ROM.

woa! I can barely lift that much for one rep... very impressive control the entire time.
chris you are a gift to the power world.

I don't use a belt. I have progressively strengthened my lower back so that training in the style I do is not harmful.
For anyone who knows any strength history check out Bob Peoples and his thoughts on such matters.
