Projecting.
That's really all there is really to be said about this video.
A good, classic case of me projecting onto Riku, as I always do.
But at least it works for him, too, so it's not entirely selfish.

Anyway.
It's hard to know what to say about this, really.
It's very personal, and I don't know how to tell you about it without feeling like I'm whining to everybody who does not care or need to know.
So, I guess I won't.

The basics...
There's no pairings here, people.
It's just Riku, and everyone else you see is supposed to be one of his friends.
Of course, he has like, three, so I had to give him a couple more, but hey.
We all have imaginations here, right.

The video, it's not optimistic.
It's not about his friend's being there to help him, or...
In fact, it's exactly the opposite.
It's about his friends disappearing; leaving him behind.
Forgetting about or abandoning him, essentially.

But also, it's about how he feels as though he deserves it.
"So leave me," is not said with resent.
It's said with resignation.

"Just do it.
I'm a liar, a sinner, and a Heartless.
This is the way it's supposed to be.
It's my fate, and it's my fault, because my caring always comes out wrong.
I don't expect to be forgiven."

The hazy flashbacks at the instrumental break are supposed to emphasize this.
And the fact that I, too, am a terrible friend... I swear I don't mean to be, but I swear I am.
And yes, I know the whole video is very dark and blurry. But it's supposed to be.
If my heart were to be visible right about now, I'm sure that's what it'd look like. So.
Hopefully the constant blurring won't come off as annoying or anything.
But oh well.

With that out of the way, let me just say, this fried my brain.
I love Riku to death and all, but I really hate working with him sometimes.
The clip selection, uck.
And working with a lot of them, namely the ones from the first game, they always make me so mad at him.
I often call him stupid, and even a jerk, but...
Hah, I've come to realize, I'm no better.
I might even be a little worse.
But it's done, and it gives me a morbid sense of satisfaction, so.

Also. Since we're here.
I don't think I'll be terribly active for a while...
Like with replies and groups and meh.
I just don't have the energy.
I don't want to think of hope as being gone, but...
Well. It doesn't matter.
Just don't take it personally, okay?
I'm a bad person but I never really mean to hurt anyone.

first thing i noticed when i clicked on the video-- your icon looks like riku's looking down at the description. it's like he watches every video you make.

but, the blurs weren't bad at all. they were fitting. you got out what you needed into a video that shows it in an amazing way. i really hope you feel better <3
