I use Double Shuen which is a very thin and absorbent paper similar to 'Rice paper' and it's hand made in China.
did you use watercolor paper?

Beautiful painting of the Orchid. I have done a few paintings of the Orchid but, my brush strokes are a little rusty when it comes to the leaves. After watching your demonstration, I'll apply that to my painting. Thank you again.
