@sylvesmiller any Equine can be trained like this. just dont treat them like a pet and treat them like you would any other horse. Ponies get spoiled when they get treated like a dog or a household pet. they become pushy and nasty because they have been "taught" at a young age that its acceptable behaviour. if you treat them like any other horse, discipline them how you would any other horse they will turn out well. i know someone that trains kids ponies and they turn out to be perfect.
