This device was built by a friend and is used to seperate gold dust from sand. This particular example was from a beach in my town and I really didn't expect to find anything and yet those little specks of flour gold in the video are a surprise.

  • i can see gold that's fallen off the edge of the sluice!

  • @bballboy33 I only wish that was gold. That's the patio stone material that you see there my friend, the gold that I was after was flour gold and you can see it in the green pockets on the seperator under heavy magnification.

  • @giorgiom13 I tried using a plastic light lens for an over head light; that you can buy at Lowes or Home Depot.

Works pretty good for washing out some fine material.

Not my video just saw it today!

  • Would be nice to know the pattern or material that its made of. OR, is it a secret?

  • Very nice. Maybe something how the pattern is made?
