I haven't seen a whole lot of episodes of the animated series, but in the ones I have the symbol on his chest had no yellow, it was just a bat, did this change over time?

@Deddshot Yes. First there was Batman: The Animated Series which this skin is taken directly from. Later after the series ended and it revamped to The New Batman Adventures Batman had just the bat and his costume was more black and gray with no blueish tint to it. Later in Justice League and JLU they mixed aspects of the two batsuits to make the one he wore int those series.
