I've run across references to the glass harp (which we see above) also being called the "seraphim," "the singing glasses" AND "the armonica" or "glass armonica." But modern English references use "glass harp" for this instrument and "glass armonica" for the automated version of this instrument (with the bowls that go round and round on a spindle,) invented by Benjamin Franklin after he saw a set of glasses being played in England.
