http://www.HowToStopPanicAttacksBlog.com/ Some advice about how to stop panic attacks and beat anxiety forever. Read my blog for more information about stopping panic attacks and preventing them from happening again.
@musicG91 I was born with a hole on my heart, and have a history of asthma. Attacks make it worse lol, but im exercising, yoga, and learning breathing techniques and its helping alot. I still have the thought of an 'attack' on my head but i fight it. Good luck. Hope you get better :)
Thank you for being honest and giving hope and not just being one of those BS money grab programs that never work. Looking forward to reading this blog.
@musicG91 see your doctor if you have not. some things that help me are breathing exercise, staying busy think of something different if you can. I find my self thinking "omg I hope I don't have attack" and that leads to a attack. I rationalize my thoughts. like I worry about lets say "the house burning down" I say to my self "this is not rational the house is not going to burn down, even if it did my worry would not stop it It is so hard to deal with but you have to take back.
Absolutely right. You feel something starting and then you start worrying how full blown panic attack will occur and then because of that it does. The key things would be to start thinking about something else at that moment, focus on another person, if there is someone. If there isn't someone near, then you focus on the sky or wall or something else, counting backward starting from some 3 digit number for example. It often works for me.
Suffered from anxiety since i was a child, Had my full blown panic attack after 2 weeks sober from a 8 year drinking period after 4 cups of coffee. Got to take an ambulance ride. That was an experience. The anxiety got worse sinnce i became sober, now im learning to control it and not be afraid of everything. Its hard but you just have to train your mind to not give a fuck and ignore anxiety symptoms. It takes time but eventually everyone pulls trough.
