The journey of a young Indian womans hair, donated to the Temple to be then converted into exquisite hair extensions in Italy. This same hair will then return to India to satisfy the whim of a successful career woman in Bombay.

I watched this documentary last night on TV.  My roommate had to convince me to watch it; I didn't see how hair in India could be a very exciting subject.

I was mistaken - this is easily one of the best documentaries I've seen in a long time. It is truly eye-opening.

Absolutely fascinating documentary, strange to think how it all comes full circle given that the 'donated hair' is then exported to amongst others, the very same country from where it came from in the first place. Fascinating stuff and very well made, thankyou. :)
