@ardembiczak We used Black Jack and a variety of slow marches for our Sound Off during Regimental Reviews at Valley Forge Military Academy the entire time I was there in the late 70's-early 80's. And it was always in our parade order on an off-post parade. Still love it. Those drom cadences were perfect for showy lifts by the drumline.

a band that plays like a band - not a symphonic wind ensemble - give me a break- thanks for posting all of these old recordings - we all forget what bands sounded like years ago.

" PASS IN REVIEW!" I remember the KMS&C Band playing this during many parades while I was in the Corps 1972-78. Use of it declined in 1976 w/ retired CWO Igancio coming on board to coach the band.

We are playing this in my highschool music class and i am one of the two trumpets and i play first. They make it look so easy...Its not! lol
