  • You have a Bicentennial transistor radio. Is that originally yours, or did you retrieve it secondhand?

  • @gremashlo That transistor AM radio is mine, and I've had it for 36 years... and it still works! It's responsible for my very early love of music. I listened to a lot of pop music on that thing when I was nine or ten years old... and beyond.

  • Love the guitar - the song is a little Eddie Vedderish - really great

  • Thanks, @MrBotia1 -- although I'll be so bold as to say Eddie Vedder is a little Matt Selznickish, since this song pre-dates Temple of the Dog and Pearl Jam by about three years or so. ;-)

  • Thanks, Keiko! I'm glad you like this one -- it's one of my older songs so it's nice to know it still holds up.

  • I gotta get me one of those! (Flip) The recording is crystal clear for a live performance...nice tune, Matt!

  • Thanks, Stephen -- it's an oldie (to me) but a goodie (to you, thankfully). :-)

And yeah, the Flip is a cool little gadget.

  • sooooo goood

  • I could listen to that song over and over again. The lyrics are solid and the chord-work is worthy of an instrumental version sometime down the line.
