we can get over this. it was worse in the depression, and look how we prospered in the fifties. people in the cities will suffer the most though, people in the country and the south are typically self sufficient

This isn't how it is all over the USA just for service industry. Take this time to go back to school to have a skill that keeps you at work. Don't be lazy and you can have the world.

Americans don't seem to realize the USA has two things going for us - the ability to be self-employed, & a huge market of gullible Christians. Four years ago i was unemployed. i noticed how easily churches got money from their congregation, & tax-free status from the government, so i started a Christian ministry. Now i have 200 people in my congregation, all giving me money. Some even sign over their welfare & unemployment insurance checks, lol! See my channel.

@MrRobertGulabo That is a very valid point. I wish more people understood this history, and how we have been manipulated by the large corporations.

@Souljahna Amen. The government wasn't shy when taking almost 1/3 of my paycheck every week. Why should I be shy when I need that money back to feed myself? We are paying for our own assistance but treated like criminals for asking for it.

They keep saying richest nation in the world but that is no longer reality.
Americans have hit foggy bottom.
the cities look bombed out
this is just the beginning the Govt is going to go Bankrupt
food stamps, unemployment,welfare pensions
everything is about to default.
When that happens 50% of Americans will become useless eaters who cannot support themselves.
the Fema camps will house them and feed them but they will never leave the camps at least not alive.

Cynthia could turn in that gas guzzling SUV for a more gas efficient vehicle and save some money that way.
