Unfortunately if you sing about that which is revealing or meaningful, you are forced to swim upstream. If you sing about your crotch, how often you use it, or rhyme simple words together, you get the red carpet by the music industry. It's deplorable.

Kings of Leon is a good example.. Nice songs but nothing really of substance. If all things were equal and the zionazis didnt own the labels like they do today, I wonder how Poker Face would really fare on the big stage.

Well, for me it's really rewarding to find bands like Poker Face, because then I can show it to friends and say, "Check these guys out." I don't always agree with everything you guys sing about, but at least you're not singing about the same old boring stuff. It's intellectual music that challenges me to think differently from my own perspective.
