I wound up breaking one katana by accident during the fight with Adam. I ditch the other one so I can grab Adam's small chainsaw, then grab a second one after Greg's arrival cutscene forces a stage reset. With the Entertainment, Engineering, and Criminal Biography books, it means these two small chainsaws will last for most of the rest of the game.

I escort Greg to the restroom for the secret passage--tagging him once or twice with the chainsaw, admittedly--and head back briefly to get the Yuu and Shinji message from Otis. This also "activates" Greg as a viable survivor, so I give him my depleted SMG. This lets him door-guard for me while I talk to Yuu and Shinji.

The book I pick up from behind the counter is the Japanese Conversation book, which allows Frank to hold a halting conversation with Yuu and Shinji. Without it, he can't recruit them, as they don't speak English.

Yuu and Shinji aren't the best combat survivors in the game--that title goes to Kindall--but they're close. Giving Yuu my shotgun means that between him and Greg, they'll be more than capable of guarding any perimeter area I set them in. I'm going to catch a stray bullet from them more than once, but Frank can take it, and having them around is very useful in the stage to come.

Can anybody explain the secret passage? I know its a game and not supposed to be realistic, but seriously? Is there a secret tunnel behind the mirror or like a some sort of tram to Paradise Plaza behind it?

Greg says there's a trap door in the ceiling that leads into a maintenance passageway. It's why you have to be standing on the sink to use it.

God I've always loved this game. My X-Box 360 overloaded with my electrical socket lol. Now I have to enjoy watching others rip zombies into bloody chunks. :/

at the end of the game there are loads of endings like franks a zombie,they leave with jessie and otis and loads more

Those are book icons. When you see them next to a weapon it means they're being upgraded by the books in his inventory
