  • I sense a tragic feelings of isolation in Borges genial word and his surroundings full of darkness and sounds. The sounds came from the people who he paid to help him to read, to dress, and to seat with him at the table after preparing his meals. He was attached to his genial world of words crafting their sound in his closed circle between books and people who expecting him to articulate his own creative form anguishing for being part of the world of solar light full of deaf angels.

  • "What a pity that I can't buy that book, because I already have a copy at home!"

I have had the feeling, as many people have! Borges had a great sense of humour.
