But to put it very nicely, I think that the drummer takes away from the performance. Comping is random and the way he sets up ensemble hits is ugly. His random snare comping makes it sound very elementary. And how nice it would it have been at the beginning, after the intro, if he was using brushes. Just unattractive swag all around.

i dont like this version as much as my school's. were benicia and we will be playing this at the hawaii invatational in waikiki, march 2008.

thanks for posting . I played this in my high school jazz band but not nearly as good. I hope to play it agian someday.
