http://waynewirs.com - After more than two years of enlightenment - of living without a personal self - my focus has taken a dramatic turn from the Emptiness aspects, to the Fullness... to Mystical Oneness.
Finally, the more that I make room for both approaches without expending excess energy judging which is correct, while exhibiting kindness in response to the many slights that come from living, without falling into the trap of projecting an air of victim-hood/weakness, thereby attracting trolls and sharks...the more it all seems to make sense and work...except for the many times when it doesn't, at which time I just strike a pose that radiates cryptic amusement :-)
Simultaneously, I, assuming an I truly exists, have confirmed that within my own journey each approach has appeared at various times to be "the only enlightened way to live" and a complete waste of time/energy at others. It is frustrating.
I find enlightened, happy, healthy practitioners in each group who are truly amazing as well as mean, angry, lost souls...so if how you live your life is the real test then I am equally impressed or depressed by each approach on any given day, if I use the behaviors of the adherents and their leaders/gurus/ministers as the measuring stick on any given day :-)
I come from a long line of mystics and have that inclination myself; however, over the last several years I have been practicing Zen Buddhism with those who might be considered "radical non-dualist." From a pragmatic viewpoint, I am not sure which group is closer to ultimate truth, assuming it exists, but I find very little difference between the two when using what I consider to be the ultimate test. Which group of adherents is most apt to cut you off in traffic when under stress?
Tbh anyone claiming enlightenment immediately proves they aren't, and no one moves entirely beyond self as you yourself exemplify here. To 'wake up' is a beginning, not an end. There is no end. Giving yourself to others is impossible since they aren't separate from you. Surrendering to all is. You are as much a part of it as anything else. Synchronicity isn't magical, nor does it imply caring from some external. It shows you're in the pattern. Conclusions are hazardous and often inaccurate.
Love it! I'd like to confirm the same experience at work within my life. It's almost mathematical logic - the more self serving = the more suffering. The less self serving, the less suffering. However, we mustn't be too hasty in discarding our true egos - though selfhood may seem like a curse at times, it's also a gift given to us from eons of evolution, and it deserves a place in the world. The challenge is finding that place.
Straight from the heart! Amazing! Your honesty confirms the enlightenment. The Universe is an amazing guide. Thank you for this video and for the book "The benfits of Mystical..." plan to start reading it tonight.
@cybervigilante Holy mackerel there Andy you just threw out the entire nursery with the bathwater! Vedanta is a means to knowledge, Self knowledge, which makes it a science. It uses precise, not metaphorical language, distinguishing it from religion. The source of that knowledge is self-realized awareness, not cultural accretions. Nor is it a teaching based upon the limited perspective of a single individual. Many minds have

@hydrogenroar I will accept that idea if you are enlightened. If not, you are just bandying theories, as am I ;')
