@thatiamdisco its weird looking at this video a year later and realizing a hate comment on my reply is top comment. funny stuff actually. might as well give an update - whitechapel did have the crowd going crazy more-so than the other bands, which is a fact not a musical opinion, but i liked cattle decapitation most out of the line up. gaza put on a great performance from what i remember as well, very talented on stage and in the studio with a really unique and intense sound thats hard to match

@Dorakskel Melody is NOT the essence of music. Anyone that would even utter something like that doesn't know a single fucking thing about music. Music is noise that we deem to be music. The only thing that makes music is the mind. Man was making music in the cold, dark nights that we spent huddled around fires for warmth and I guarantee you there wasn't melody. There was only the thudding of sticks, the ringing of bones and the throaty grunts of primitive man scream-singing.

I would consider these guys more of a sludgey hardcore feel or sludgey grindcore. Thats just me though. Either way these guys are awesome, saw them with Converge and they killed it.
