Aye, but for the first mission in the game it simply gives you the option to retry it - effectively saving you all the effort of popping back to the main menu and hitting 'New Game'.

I have to say, the first parts were entertaining, but then it went downhill. I think the biggest mistake you're making, and you continue to make is dashing into the unknown. This is bad. I know the tutorial teaches it like this, because ... no idea why, actually, but as long as you don't know what's going on, you go from cover to cover and then put your dudes into overwatch.

We decided that you should be commander of the American branch of x-com. At 1sr, you used tradition to try to beat them (grenades on forward aliens, cover next to a burning car, etc).

But you molded. Go do whatever you think makes it easier on you.
