Glenn Beck examines the smart grid technology, and what Energy Czar Carol Browner's ideas may mean to you. In her own words, "Eventually, we can get to a system where an electric company will be able to hold back some of the power so that maybe your air conditioner won't operate at its peak, you'll still be able to cool your house, but that'll be a savings to the consumer. " [US News & World Reports 3/9/09]
well may be considered an intrution but let us say the electrical plants that supply energy dont count on the sufficient energy to sell, they may have to ask for this, this is happening for example in countries as Venezuela where has stopped raining and the capacity to offer service has decrase. Now in the states is different right? the point is you can raise and control the thermostat in the way you need it but you have to pay the bill for the service. Regulation must exist not banning
