Eurythmics - Never Gonna Cry Again

(HQ stereo digital remaster) Other copies of this rare Eurythmics clip on YouTube are pretty poor quality. This is directly from a DVB-T broadcast. So it's very high quality, no drops, and the clip is in its entirety. And as a bonus, I have remastered the audio with CD stereo sound (as I always do).

Never included on any Eurythmics video or DVD release, and apparently not broadcast in Europe, this is the first ever Eurythmics clip, finally brought to you in HQ. Sit back and enjoy this clip as it was meant to be enjoyed!

Annie looks beautiful in her soft red wispy hair and the red ballgown that would be reused for the cello sequence in the Sweet Dreams video. She described her In the Garden look as Germanic which makes sense since (hmmm two homonyms....) they recorded it in Cologne Germany!

this reminds me alot of a scene in the Derrick Jarman film"jubilee",and also in the vid to" sweet dreams" where Annie turns the globe with her orange cropped hair is very like a scene from "Jubilee" also involving Toyah.

A well crafted video, well ahead of its time - and I mean, not just for the 1981 standard. Some of the water snapshots were later used in their "Sweet Dreams" live from Heaven video (during "Jennifer" intro). It is criminal this video never got onto a proper official video compilation of theirs, whether VHS or especially the DVD. Well, this eventual error can always be corrected.

@12burtonboy "I'm never gonna cry again" is just another way of saying, "I'm gonna kill myself." I think that the lyrics are based on a suicide note that a woman left for her past boyfriend to see. She says that she's never gonna cry again (as in, committing suicide), then she says that she didn't want to bother him by telling him in person, then she concludes that she can't stand to be around him.
