what kind of substrates are you using?

What products are used here exactly (brand and material name)? and the last layer looks like a type or coarse sand, not gravel. Please correct me if i am wrong.

Very nice indeed!!! Please tell me where I can purchase the tools you used, not so much the fanned out scrapper for the substrate, but the hemostat/ tweezers and the scissors. I would appreciate it very much. Thanks.
