Thanks for the info man, was a huge help. Learned a bunch of new stuff!

@alrf48 thats just the low and high cut, the reason it sounded epic is because he played a chord. generally, synths like this sound ugly with a single note but with chords sound beautiful

cloning the track sure gives it a bigger sound. great info here, thanks!!

@EmGBlackout you can do a filter cutoff with parametric eq2.

@KeigoKanemura lolol i know what you mean. to think that he made it with this little underdog of a plugin. smh

I like how that annotation comes up saying, "Sounds okay."
Obviously the person who made this and I have very different definitions of 'okay,' because I pretty much started drooling all over my keyboard when I heard the finished pad...

I think I can save you some time. Instead of cloning and tweaking all those fine tune and panning knobs, go to the "function" tab. In the "echo delay / fat mode" module, turn the feedback all the way up and make sure both "ping pong" and "fat mode" boxes are lit. Now, turn the pan knob 50% to the left. Leave mod-X and mod-Y knobs alone. Turn the pitch knob to -25 cents and turn the time down to 3, with only 2 echoes. This should create an effect called "pulse width modulation". Hope that helped.
