Average speed: 3,085mph -- not bad... that's 0.85 miles per second!

agHHHHHHHHH reminds me of the million roadtrips. I NEED to do this again & I like your idea, filming. Although, more on my level I would film the happy passengers lol. It's quite awesome, wonderful, interesting & all the above! Thanks!!!!!!

So you made this trip in March? I am thinking of doing this drive this March, was this normal conditions?? Great video too!! A lot of fun to watch!

@momonohasu Yes, at the end of March. The road is open all year, but I wouldn't want to say that there is a normal. Alaska is always changing and you have to always be prepared for the worst. The road is heavily traveled and people are always helpful. You shouldn't have a problem. If you're lucky it will be clear and you'll see Denali on your way.

This is awesome! What was your shooting frame rate?

@RmurrayPhoto
I shot in standard 60i but at a lower bitrate so I didn't fill up the 64gb storage. Thanks for the compliment!

So - you just mounted it and recorded the entire trip? (I'm experimenting with that also). BTW the mountains on the right when you leave Anch REALLY make me homesick _ climbed a lot of them. It's weird how it jogs my memory. Thanks again!

I stopped the recording a few times at gas stations just in case file sizes became an issue. Otherwise, yes, just mounted it and drove. We also had to pull over a few times to clear the windshield. It was mounted inverted, then I just inverted the footage again in Adobe.
