Yeah because a very American style of R'n'B definitely warrants comparison to rock'n'roll. Don't get me wrong, Pickett is a fantastic singer, but that doesn't lessen the achievements of the Police, the Rolling Stones or Led Zep. I mean, have you ever written a song as good as 'Roxanne', 'Happy', or 'Stairway to Heaven'? No? Then where is your right to judge? Music is subjective. Don't be a dick.

There are still great artists like back in the day's only we get spammed by the media with bullshit and the REAL artists don't get the attention they deserve. But don't worry keep on searching and you will find real true artists making good music and putting there heart in there products without some record label who is putting them under pressure because they need to reach a deadline... the music industry changed over the years and that's why nowadays you only hear crap.
