-
HOW DID YOU MAKE THE LIGHTS WITH THE pc POWER ?
-
Hey, does having all those fans on noisy? Cuz it gets pretty loud in my computer.

Very nice. I love a good home theater video. You can check my theater videos on my side to. Good stuff !
@thethirdq @nomyaw @zingli123 to extend the fans and have longer runs, since the molex connectors are not that long I cut the molex connector off took the red and black wire (positive and negative) and cut the connection to the fan and used speaker wire to extend the runs, connected positive and negative wires together and there you go. Since each fan only needs 5 watts which at low RPM is probably around 2-3 watts a 250W can push 50 fans though I haven't ran that many. I never heard them. 2/2

@thethirdq @nomyaw @zingli123 OK first no the fans are not noisy each fan operates at around 5 watts and just have one speed. 2.) I'm not sure which lights you are referring to but if you are talking rope lights those are just plugged in an outlet. The fans are 80mm blue LED fans, I used a power supply from a PC but it's not attached to the PC. You can take a paperclip and put it in the green wire slot and black wire slot on your 24 pin connector (to motherboard) part 1/2

@PS3Geek420 I just ordered 80mm fans and the ones at the top are 120mm fans they are blue LED fans from Newegg..

hey man howd u wireup the cooling fans to the amp etc?
rzawad8 1 year ago
@rzawad8 you take a power supply out of a computer, on the 24pin connector find the green and black wire, fold a paper clip in the shape of a U and stick one end in the green the other in the black, use electrical tape to hold it in place then when you plug it in or turn on the "On" switch it will work without the motherboard. Then just buy normal 80mm cooling fans and use speaker wire for longer runs use electrical tape if you splice ends. That's it!!
