12 Wily Castle Stage 1, Mega Man 10 ロックマン10 宇宙からの脅威!! (Wiiware) 1st run
---
This is the first run in MM10 without knowledge of weaknesses or anything, thus making it a blind athentic first run. Though I may play cautitiously depending on the stage threats I percieve. [Blind]
The Weapons Archive is the boss of the first Wily Castle stage from Mega Man 10. It's a room with data of Robot Masters from previous games, and contains three blocks that can fly and attack with the special weapon of one Robot Master. There are three Weapons Archives in the stage, the first room containing data of Elec Man, Wood Man and Gemini Man, the second with data of Ring Man, Napalm Man and Flame Man, and the third with data of Slash Man, Frost Man and Tornado Man. Each block has a weakness similar to that of the robot whose data is being copied, for example Elec Man's block is weak against the cutter weapon, Gemini Man's block is weak against the weapon that travels along floors and walls, and Ring Man's block is weak against the fire weapon, just like their original counterparts.
edit Weaknesses
Every Robot Master datapod has its own weakness to one of the Master Weapons in Mega Man 10.
Robot Master / Weakness
Elec Man Wheel Cutter
Wood Man Triple Blade
Gemini Man Wheel Cutter
Ring Man Solar Blaze
Napalm Man Rebound Striker
Flame Man Water Shield
Slash Man Chill Spikes
Frost Man Commando Bomb
Tornado Man Thunder Wool
Notes/Trivia * As with everything weak to Chill Spike (except for the Wily Capsule), Commando Bomb, and Thunder Wool, the weakness only counts for indirect hits. * Judging by how Elec Man and Wood Man are included, most of the robot masters in the Wily Archive are Keiji Inafune's favorite creations, or at least the ones he likes the most. * There are 72 blocks in the background of these bosses (4 are obscured by the screen). Three of these blocks are lit up during combat. Counting from left to right, each lit block corresponds to the serial number of a currently loaded robot master.

Mega Man 10 (ロックマン10 宇宙からの脅威!!, Rokkuman 10: Uchū kara no Kyōi!!?, lit. Rockman 10: Threat From Outer Space!!) is the upcoming tenth main entry of the classic Mega Man series (not including Mega Man & Bass). Like its predecessor, Mega Man 9, it will be a downloadable title for the same services -- WiiWare, PlayStation Network, and Xbox Live Arcade -- and is based on the look and feel of the early NES titles. It will be released on March 1, 2010 for WiiWare, March 11, 2010 for PlayStation Network, and March 31, 2010 for Xbox Live Arcade.
Plot
A robotic illness known as Roboenza starts infecting robots, causing them to malfunction, with Roll becoming one of the victims. A month following the outbreak, the infected robots go berserk and attempt to take over the world. Dr. Wily comes to Mega Man and Dr. Light, claiming that he was building a medicine making machine to cure the disease before one of the infected robots stole it. Reluctantly, Mega Man decides to help Dr. Wily retrieve the machine, and soon runs into Proto Man who decides to join him.
Gameplay
Mega Man 10 will have three playable characters: Mega Man, Proto Man and an unnamed third character. The Robot Masters in the game are Sheep Man, Commando Man, Blade Man, Strike Man, Solar Man, Chill Man, Nitro Man, and Pump Man. An easy mode will also be included in the game (which has been compared in difficulty to Mega Man 2) that alters levels, such as placing platforms over spike pits. There will also be a 'Mega Man Challenges' mode where players can practice their skills. Returning features from the previous game include an in-between level item shop and downloadable content.
