You make a ton of good points in this video! Except the part about the background characters - Lauren Faust and Co. actually liked how the fans could find the animation error in Derpy's eyes and the small quote in the episode that they actually made "Derpy" her canon name, despite the previous plans to make it "Ditzy." But I agree with you for the most part. I don't follow Rule 34, and I used to despise anyone who followed it. Then I became smart and thought, "LET THEM." Who cares anyways?

@3arlGray I agree, but it's more of an issue of giving the fandom a bad name by making it sexual. We don't want a ton of hate like some other fandoms do.

And I like how we enjoy some background characters, but do we really have to make clopfics about them? That's the sort of thing I mean.

I agree with basically everything. One of the Internet rules says it best: "the more innocent something is, the more fun it is to corrupt it." I'm nots sure if that's the exact quote, but you get it right? And yeah. Shipping has gone too far with clopfics and stuff. I'm okay with them being "in love" in a fanfic or something. Yeah. We kind of need to steer back to innocence before we become Furries...
