Downtown Boise Idaho Extended

Here is the video that I made of the traffic on the connector in Boise and the buildings that I could see from the places where I was standing. Will add more detail later!

If you plan to drive through Boise, plan on spending the day because the traffic is terrible. The city council drives the population up as fast as possible while at the same time actually degrading and hobbling the road network. You can imagine how fast things turned to crap. No public rail system, no public bike/walk path network.

I have driven on I-5 in L.A. and also one the exchange in Salt Lake City. Traffic here in Boise isnt all that bad if you actually think about it! You must have just got home from driving in 5 o clock traffic and were still mad!

You need to get your head out of your butt. The point of this video wasn't to gloat about the size of Boise, which I won't deny is a smaller city, it was to show the buildings. Just in case you didn't notice the first three seconds.

Boise has a pretty cool downtown. It may not be the huge downtown of bigger cities like New York or LA, but size has nothing to do with how 'cool' a city is.

And by the way frybean, GREAT vid, I loved it.

alright. anyone who does not live in LA, has NO IDEA WHAT TRAFFIC IS! I live in Los Angeles and I'm moving to boise this summer. I cannot wait to get out of here. Never consider moving here.

Well i see a lot of hate. So i'll give my out of town opinion. I was there visiting some relatives last summer. And i have to say it's pretty welcoming and friendly. There is nothing super high tech there. But that seemed to add to it's charm. It seemed a lot less scary to walk around at night than San Diego, and the food at a lot of resteraunts there was excellent. I really enjoyed my stay there and am considering moving there to get a job with Micron. Also, Note that this is during the winter.

i have lived in Boise all my life. There is alot to love about this city. For those of you who complain about traffic or how dirty it is, you obviously have not been here. Its very clean, very beautiful. One of the few cities where you actually are not afraid to walk the streets at night. Its gorgeous here. I know its smaller, but i love it. There is a lot to appreciate.

Yep, I mean two cars is a pretty big traffic jam, Boise is a small hick town with two tall buildings, the most traffic you have is when the national rodeo convention comes to town.
