After watching this video I later watched "Bowling for Columbine" and I am much more informed on the topic. The movie never really did say why Canada has a lower crime rate, just that it did. The points that you brought up, however, are very true and very likely to be the principal causes for the issue. Excellent point.

@thankyoupourlavideo I would look too factors like low population; the abscense of lots of drugs, not having an influx of impovorished illegal immigrants who are desperate and have little choice etc. etc. Besides, guns are readily available in canada too, I am canadian and I own 3.

Fuck if I know, but it's not because there aren't any guns. Like I said gus don't kill people or are the cause of the crime being commited or in other words, holding a gun does not turn you into a criminal. I own quite a few guns and have never commited a crime.
