Horace Alexander Young is hands down the best music professor you could hope to study with in the 2000s. He developed one of the best music marketing courses in the country, his Jazz Combo Program was forwards thinking and led to the founding of contemporary national acts like The Staxx Brothers, and his Jazz History course KICKED ASS. And name the other Vojazz band leader that employed rappers to freestyle over scat sections. Where I'm from they call that OG.
