Men's Basketball: Vermont vs. Fairfield (2/20/10)

Junior Evan Fjeld led four Cats in double-figures with 17 points, while senior Nick Vier added four three-pointers to pace the Vermont mens basketball team to a 77-67 victory over Fairfield on Saturday afternoon as part of the ESPN BracketBusters series. The win is the seventh straight for the Cats, who improve to 21-8 overall.

Vermont has taken part in the ESPN BracketBusters series five times and has won its last three in the event. Vermont is 12-1 in the month of February over the last two years. UVM is 16-0 when scoring 70 or more this year and is averaging 78.2 over the last five games.
