That is the new JHMCS helmet. Provides look and shoot ability with the new AIM-9X, can also be used with the targeting pod and recce pod.

The rear cockpit is not compatible with the new helmet yet but some Super Hornets have been upgraded so both crew members can use it now. They will all be upgraded in the future.
