Since making this video its effect was so positive that we are now fully qualified skippers, trained for free by On Deck in portsmouth and ready take on the journey. All we need now is a boat. John has finished editing over 200 hrs of footage into four sequences and hopes to use to somehow get that boat. Its with a great production company and about to move forward.

This seemed like such a brilliant pie in the sky idea. Did you manage to raise the money? Did you sail to Edinburgh? Please post an update. Even if it's a webcam response...
