Just a quick demonstration of my Geiger counter. The radioactive source is a bunch of watch hands illuminated by radium-226 activated phosphor. The construction details for the geiger counter are on my site.

  • excuse me, where or how can i find/create a geiger tube? geiger tubes are very rare if not impossible to find here where i live.

  • The SBM-21 I used for this counter was purchased on ebay. A Russian guys sold them before, couldn't seem to find them on ebay now. Just search on ebay though and see what you can find.
