Your 90 second guide to why it's so important for some people to get their free flu jab.

Becky Kite, from NHS Surrey's Public Health team, explains who is at most risk from flu and how they can get a free flu jab.

Every year the seasonal flu vaccination is available during the winter months to protect against the flu viruses. It's free to people at most risk of developing complications if they catch flu:
• People aged 65 years old and over
• Anyone aged 6 months old to 65 with a serious or long term medical condition, for example chronic respiratory, heart, kidney and liver disease and diabetes.
• People living in a residential or nursing home
• Anyone who is the main carer of an older or disabled person, or
• Pregnant women.

Becky says: "Our advice is simple: don't wait until there is a flu outbreak this winter. Contact your GP practice now to book an appointment for your free flu jab and get protected."
