I would give my left nut to see The Hold Steady live. Stay Positive just might be my favorite album since 2000.

Yeah, this song is awesome, but they're a lot better live, like "Constructive Summer" is a ton better unproduced. "Stuck Between Stations" and "Chips Ahoy!" sound a little better on the record to me, though.

I think the edited version sounds kind of... bland... the live version is soo much better. In my opinion.

he also uses the line about going with whoever gets her the highest on every album. i personally like it its almost like an in joke for the fans
