This is the first time I have seen Glenn Wells mentioned. He used to sing at a local Houston teen canteen. His hit at the time was "It was written in the stars" if I remember right, it was around 1960 or so.

Great song. The Louisiana groups influenced the music in San Antonio Texas greatly during the 50's and early 60's. Cookie, Joe Barry, Buck Rogers, Glenn Wells, etc.

So many wonderful tracks from the 50s-60s that were influential but not widely appreciated at the time. Swamp music is the greatest !!
